A Master of Ceremonies (or 'MC') plays a similar role to a toastmaster; in fact, the two terms are often confused. Like a toastmaster, the MC ensures that your event runs smoothly by guiding the proceedings, advising the organisers, and making announcements and introductions.Events requiring an MC rather than a toastmaster are usually less formal. While the image of a red-jacketed toastmaster fits the style of a formal function or ceremonial dinner, an MC will dress to suit the occasion. Jan has experience in many types of function, from fashion shows and testimonial dinners to presentations and awards ceremonies. Whatever type of event you are planning, Jan will be happy to discuss your requirements.
