Since those days, although Jan has become increasingly in demand as a toastmaster and after-dinner speaker, the music influences have never been far away, and Jan has run her own function bands, duos and jazz combos since the 1970s.

Jan specialises in fun, informal occasions - private parties and celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries, and her own popular brand of cockney nights.
